Queries-per-second (QPS) is a measure of how much traffic a particular query server is handling at a given time and calculated per second. The activity of servers in the domain name system is often measured in QPS.
Queries per second is defined as a measure of the amount of search traffic an information-retrieval system, such as a search engine or a database, receives in one second. This tool is here to help you determine your monthly query count based on your QPS.
It's pretty simple actually. If you know the number of queries you currently processes per second, take that number and plug it into formula:
QPS x 60 seconds per minute x 60minutes per hour x 24 hours per day x 30.41 average days per month. Then you will have your average monthly query total.
