DYN: Active Failover
Oracle Dyn’s Failover service allows you to configure global health checks that monitor your primary endpoint. If your primary resource is down, traffic will automatically be routed to your backup IP/host. You can also choose to receive notifications for when your primary endpoint goes down and when it becomes available again.
DNS Made Easy: Failover
DNS Made Easy’s Failover solution operates similarly to Dyn’s Active Failover. One additional step we take is to ensure your alternative resources are healthy and available before redirecting traffic, which prevents unnecessary downtime.
Dyn: Traffic Director
Dyn’s Traffic Director lets you configure your DNS based on geographical rules for enhanced routing decisions. Configurations can be based on region, country, state, or province.
DNS Made Easy: Global Traffic Director (GTD)
Similar to Dyn’s Traffic Director service, DNS Made Easy’s Global Traffic Director lets users create region-specific DNS records that can serve content based on user location. Records can be configured for six regions around the world. GTD greatly improves performance, resolution accuracy, and speeds.

Dyn Oracle: DDoS Protection
Oracle Dyn’s DDoS Protection service automatically monitors your domain(s) for common DDoS volumetric attacks, as well as layer 3 and 4 attacks like SYN, UDP, and ICMP floods.
DNS Made Easy: Real-time Traffic Anomaly Detection (RTTAD)
We offer a real-time monitoring service that uses machine learning to analyze and predict web traffic. With Real-time Traffic Anomaly Detection (RTTAD), you can view your DNS traffic in real time, and are instantly notified if any suspicious activity is detected. With RTTAD enabled, you can make proactive decisions rather than reactive ones and stop an attack before it can bring your domain offline. Our network is also engineered to protect against TCP state exhaustion attacks, reflection/amplification attacks, and application attacks. Best used for identifying unusual activity and stopping DDoS attacks.
